Thinking Based Learning

Thinking Based Learning (TBL) is one of the methods of teaching Physics. TBL is about teaching skillful thinking. There are 4 steps in TBL. 


 Step 1: Make explicit what makes the thinking skillful - Take student's everyday life situation and focus on skill that want to build.

Step 2: Give students guided practice in doing the thinking skillfully as they engage with the content.

Step 3: Prompt students to employ one or more relevant habits of mind

Step 4: Prompt the students to think about their    thinking so that they can guide themselves to do    the thinking skillfully when it is called for.

One of the TBL is deductive classification of Bloom taxonomy. This is important in order to create question for students to evaluate them.
